Keep your fingers crossed

I became familiar with Jessica Sprague around Christmas when she offered a free holiday scrapbooking class. Since then I've been reading her blog and enjoying some of the freebies from her website. Last week I read a blog post about her search for some new members to add to her creative team. I posted the 3 following layouts to be considered for her team. So please keep your fingers crossed for me. I would love to be a part of her team!

How I got started

I've been scrapbooking since I was in High School. I started out paper scrapping. I liked it but was always frustrated at the mess and finding the right paper and extra stuff to go with my photos.

When my twin daughters were just babies I discovered digital scapbooking and my world changed forever. I found a new passion! Digital scrapping is great because there is no mess. I can save my file, shut down the program and its cleaned up! I can reuse the same papers and elements over and over. I can resize photos to fit in the perfect spot.

I use Photoshop Elements. I know some people prefer Photoshop over Elements but I've found several plug-ins that make Elements work more like Photoshop. For the most part it is simple and easy to use. There are basic tools that are straightforward. But you can also dig deeper into the program for more complex layouts.

I decided to start this blog as a way to display the different projects I've finished and that I'm currently working on.

Thanks for looking!
